RELX devices battery life in Trinidad, For Beginners (Cola Zero)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering battery life, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation.
Most Trinidad buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Battery behaviour is where the Beipu B2 earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 200 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the Beipu B2 with a 20:80 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 20:80 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
The Crimson Red finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For experienced users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 48 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation.
In Trinidad, availability of the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 20:80 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Frozen Berry Sorbet: sweet, icy, described as cold berry inhale with a soft exhale. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
