How we test RELX devices in Trinidad: Explained
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering new arrivals, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Budget matters in Trinidad, but with relx devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. The Crimson Red finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Most Trinidad buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. Vapour production is more than adequate at 90, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For disposable buyers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
The build quality on Innokin X is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 62 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Innokin X is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 90, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The mesh tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 40:60 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cola Zero: sweet, fizzy, described as cola sweetness with a light fizz. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
