How to pick RELX devices in Trinidad (1.2 ohm mesh) (v2)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering versus, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
There is no single best relx devices for everyone in Trinidad, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
The Trinidad market for relx devices has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Voopoo Drag is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
For value hunters, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 60:40 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.0 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Expect roughly 542 full puffs from a charge at 6 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510-X matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
