Trinidad RELX devices FAQ and answers (2025) (v4)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering complete guide, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium relx devices narrows once you know which components you actually use. What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 70:30 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Local availability in Trinidad shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the IQOS III is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 65, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 70:30 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. Airflow control on the IQOS III is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
The build quality on IQOS III is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 61 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 70:30 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Arctic White finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Classic Menthol: cool, sharp, described as clean peppermint with consistent coolness. On a 70:30 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
