Is RELX devices worth it in Trinidad? Premium (50 W)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering buying guide, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
Finding the right relx devices in Trinidad is easier than most catalogues make it sound. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
Airflow control on the Beipu B2 is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
The build quality on Beipu B2 is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 59 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. What surprised us most was how little the 1.2 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Trinidad, availability of the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Pineapple Ice Cream: creamy, sweet, described as dairy-style pineapple dessert. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.2 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510-X matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
