Where to buy RELX devices in Trinidad: Savings (v2)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering licensing, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Anyone who has compared relx devices options in Trinidad quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the newer generation.
Most Trinidad buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 65:35 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 65:35 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
The Crimson Red finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For nic salt users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Comparing this against a 65:35 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 878 full puffs from a charge at 6 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Hcigar Akso is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.8 Ω regular mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 44 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Kiwi Lime: tangy, green, described as tart kiwi balanced by lime. On a 65:35 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
