First Time Buyers guide to RELX devices (refillable) (60 W)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering cleaning, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Trinidad shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Expect roughly 1578 full puffs from a charge at 20 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
Finding the right relx devices in Trinidad is easier than most catalogues make it sound. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 60, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
The Emerald finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For first-time buyers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
In Trinidad, availability of the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The narrow bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 80:20 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
The build quality on Voopoo Drag is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 40 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 80:20 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Comparing this against a 80:20 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Coconut Pineapple: creamy, tropical, described as smooth coconut layered over pineapple. On a 80:20 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.2 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
