RELX devices safety basics in Trinidad (Voopoo Drag)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering budget options, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Finding the right relx devices in Trinidad is easier than most catalogues make it sound. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
There is no single best relx devices for everyone in Trinidad, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 88 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
We would pair the Innokin Sceptre with a 30:70 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
Comparing this against a 30:70 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 3.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1490 full puffs from a charge at 0 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 30:70 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Innokin Sceptre is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 30:70 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Forest Green finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Melon Cucumber: fresh, light, described as clean cucumber under sweet melon. On a 30:70 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
