Is RELX devices worth it in Trinidad? Mistakes (1.4 ohm mesh)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering verdict, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Finding the right relx devices in Trinidad is easier than most catalogues make it sound. The build quality on Innokin X is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
Most Trinidad buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 65:35 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. Airflow control on the Innokin X is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 65:35 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 6.5 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 85 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Frozen Berry Sorbet: sweet, icy, described as cold berry inhale with a soft exhale. On a 65:35 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
