Trinidad RELX devices starter bundle (60 W)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering storage, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Most Trinidad buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
Budget matters in Trinidad, but with relx devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. The Sunset Orange finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
The build quality on Voopoo Drag is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 92 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
The Sunset Orange finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the magnetic contact takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For rechargeable users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Trinidad, availability of the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 40:60 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Kiwi Lime: tangy, green, described as tart kiwi balanced by lime. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.2 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
