First Time Buyers RELX devices shortlist
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering new in, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Search results for relx devices in Trinidad are crowded, which is why this page focuses on what actually changes the experience. What surprised us most was how little the 2.0 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium relx devices narrows once you know which components you actually use. Charging over USB-C takes about 51 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 2.0 Ω regular mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Trinidad, availability of the 2.0 Ω regular coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the IQOS III is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 60, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 60:40 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 60:40 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For first-time buyers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Classic Menthol: cool, sharp, described as clean peppermint with consistent coolness. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 2.0 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 2.0 Ω regular and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
