How to pick RELX devices in Trinidad (2025) (v17)

RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering shipping zones, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.

We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 70:30 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.

The gap between a mid-range and a premium relx devices narrows once you know which components you actually use. The build quality on Wismec Reuleaux is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.

If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 70:30 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Trinidad shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current TTD rates rather than a fixed list price.

For tank lovers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. We would pair the Wismec Reuleaux with a 70:30 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 70:30 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.

Expect roughly 501 full puffs from a charge at 6 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Wismec Reuleaux is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.

Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 25 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.

The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 70:30 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Lilac Mist finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

These are the figures that matter day to day, and the ones worth comparing across models.

Flavour and performance notes

A representative profile is Mango Tango Ice: sweet, tropical, described as ripe mango warmed by a light menthol coolness. On a 70:30 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.

Practical considerations in Trinidad

Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
