rechargeable guide to RELX devices in Trinidad (1.5 ohm regular)
RELX devices advice for Trinidad, covering first device, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium relx devices narrows once you know which components you actually use. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Vapour production is more than adequate at 150, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
Delivery across Trinidad is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Innokin Sceptre is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
For nic salt users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cinnamon Danish: sweet, spiced, described as cinnamon pastry with a light glaze. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Trinidad
Availability in Trinidad is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.6 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and TTD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
